News The turnover of Põhjakeskus grew by 14%

09-65The total turnover of the stores in Põhjakeskus in the year 2011 was 28.2 million euros, which is 14% higher than the year before.

Last year, the number of visitors reached 2.3 million, which is 1.7% more than in 2010, said Põhjakeskus.

According to Andres Rjabov, member of the management board of Balti Teenused OÜ, which owns Põhjakeskus, the turnover of Põhjakeskus compared to the year before has continued to be positive since March 2010.

"In December 2011, the turnover of Põhjakeskus was 17% bigger than it had been in December 2010. More than 232,000 visitors came to Põhjakeskus in December, which is 11.4% more than the year before," noted Rjabov in a press release.

These turnover figures do not include the turnovers of the K-rauta hardware store, Swedbank or If insurance office.

Põhjakeskus is the largest shopping centre in the Viru counties, including more than 70 stores and service providers.
